According to Russian media reports, the Russian Dairy Producers Union stated that China’s increased quarantine measures against the Covid-19 in Russia’s dairy products have led to a decline in ice cream exports. In 2020, Russia exported 1,000 tons of ice cream to China, 500 tons less than the export volume before the pandemic.
