General Administration of China’s Customs recently announced the "Administrative Measures for Export Food Production Enterprises to Apply for Overseas Registration", requiring export food production enterprises to apply for overseas registration through the information system to the customs of their place of residence. This approach will come into effect on January 1, 2022.

For overseas production companies that import food, the General Administration of Customs of China made relevant requirements as early as the 248 and 249 orders at the beginning of the year. It is reported that the current information system is open to overseas companies. The filing must be completed before January 1, 2022. Relevant companies are reminded to pay attention, and do not miss the last two months of filing statutes, which will affect the import of products next year.
