November 7, Beijing — Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, addressing a regular press conference, responded to a journalist's inquiry regarding the recent export of Japanese scallops to China. This shipment marks the first export of Japanese aquatic products to China since the import ban was imposed two years ago."Regarding the export of Japanese aquatic products to China, the Chinese side has already issued a statement," Mao Ning emphasized. "China will continue to participate in international monitoring of the Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water and conduct its own independent sampling and monitoring.
