Kazakhstan is actively developing new markets and expanding the variety of its export goods. Currently, Kazakh products are sold in more than 15 countries and regions, including member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, the European Union, as well as China, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan .
		
	
The country has signed new agreements with China for the supply of poultry meat and cattle hides. Discussions are also underway to expand the export range to include horsemeat, horse milk powder, frozen beef, mutton, pork, and related processed products .
		
	
In a significant development, Kazakhstan has been included in the EU's list of countries authorized to export honey . Trade cooperation with Asian nations is deepening, with ongoing talks with Japan concerning the supply of live horses and dairy products, and negotiations with South Korea regarding ice cream exports .
		
	
Discussions with other nations, including Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and Qatar, are continuing .To facilitate market access, a total of 3,652 Kazakh enterprises are now on the approved export list, with nine new exporters registered in June of this year alone . Within the Eurasian Economic Union's registry, there are 3,292 Kazakh livestock enterprises .
		
	
Furthermore, Kazakhstan and China have strengthened their agricultural ties. The Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture and China's General Administration of Customs have signed 12 protocols defining export conditions, paving the way for greater market access . A joint Kazakhstan-China agricultural laboratory is under construction in the East Kazakhstan Region.
		
	
This facility will certify Kazakh products according to Chinese veterinary standards, streamlining their entry into the Chinese market .
		
	
Concurrently, several countries have lifted previous sanitary restrictions. Belarus, Russia, and China have revoked the ban on imports from southeastern Kazakhstan related to foot-and-mouth disease. Turkey has lifted all restrictions concerning foot-and-mouth disease, avian influenza, and lumpy skin disease, while China has removed its avian influenza-related ban. Armenia has fully canceled import restrictions associated with foot-and-mouth disease .
		
	
Kazakhstan is also actively participating in formulating unified veterinary rules within the Eurasian Economic Union framework, covering areas such as product traceability systems, prevention and control of African swine fever, and mechanisms for accountability for sanitary violations .On the agricultural front, the national grain harvest has so far covered an area of 3 million hectares, representing 18.9% of the total sown area, with 4.3 million tons of grain threshed .
