Jan. 7, the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) issued Announcement No. 2 of 2022 (Announcement on the Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for Imported Belarusian Beef), allowing the import of Belarusian beef and its products that meet the relevant requirements.

Belarusian beef allowed to be imported refers to frozen and chilled deboned and boned beef; beef products refer to canned cooked beef products

In 2017, China and Belarus signed the Protocol on Frozen Beef Import/Export, and Belarus became China's 14th beef importer. At the beginning of 2018, the first batch of frozen Belarusian beef exported to China entered the Chinese market from Shanghai.
